Abstract
Príspevok sa zaoberá problematikou fámy, sociálnopsychologických aspektov jej vzniku a následného šírenia. V úvode prináša stručný prehľad niektorých doterajších poznatkov o fáme z tejto oblasti, predovšetkým zo zahraničných reálií. Vo výskumnej časti podáva správu o uskutočnenom kvalitatívno – kvantitatívnom výskumnom projekte, ktorý vychádza z týchto poznatkov a sleduje vznik a proces šírenia fámy vo vybranej sociálnej skupine.
This paper deals with aspects of the origin and spread of rumours from the viewpoint of social psychology. Firstly it introduces a concise overview of this phenomenon, mainly drawing on foreign sources. In the empirical part, it gives an account of a qualitative and quantitative study based on this overview and carried out on a selected social group.
